I have been married to my just-outta-high-school-sweetheart, the same amazing warrior of a man, for the last 16 years. I am mother to Sarah, Sam and Selah (who we will bring home from China later this year) and am a strong advocate for orphans and children living in brokenness and poverty, particularly those with with special needs.
I enjoy writing, reading, listening to music of all sorts, spending time with my family, being outdoors and skipping small talk.
I am big on humor and enjoy laughing and celebrating life. I try to find joy in the little things because it's the little things that make life what it is.
And above anything, I put Jesus because He has saved me and changed my heart through the gift of His love. Because of Him, I am a new person and everything I am, everything I have, everything I will do that is of any worth or value, is all because of what He has done for me.
